Lover of all things bad & boujee
I am a Houston-based artist working mainly in oil paint and mixed media sculpture. I hold a Bachelor's of Art in Studio Art and in Business from Brandeis University. I have been painting for the past three years and recently started exploring sculpturature for the last two years.

The main source for my work comes from a mix of popular culture and personal experiences as a black woman. I am also interested in visual merchandising, particularly luxury window displays. I often look to displays seen in Harrod's, Tiffany & Co., Hermes, etc. for inspiration when thinking about how a piece should be installed. Many of my paintings and sculptures try to explore where these themes and practices intersect.

With my work, I hope to increased visibility of people that look like me or share similar experiences in the fine arts space. Art is a reflection of life, and I want to shine a light on parts of life that are not necessarily associated with luxury or high art culture.
